Getting Ready for Spring/Summer Outdoor Fun

It's been a long winter for some of us in northern climates, but it looks like it's finally spring and time to get ready for outdoor activities.

Mini Pancake Kabobs

Perfect for Mother's Day!

A simple and fun Mother's Day breakfast idea that the kiddos can help create! Use your imagination - toppings and flavor combinations are endless for these kabobs!

You will need:
Pancake mix - prepared as stated on the box

Toppings:
Berries - strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries
Bananas
Sausage links

Tooth picks or skewers 

Directions:
  1. Prepare pancake batter as stated on box.
  2. Gather topping and cook, wash, slice as needed.

In my younger days, much of my disposable income went toward trendy clothes and shoes. When my closet would begin to overflow, my friends and I would have what we affectionately called "UGLY TOP NIGHT" and swap our clothes and shoes. It's way more economical than a shopping trip to the mall and it's more fun than a garage sale with strangers.

Bright Horizons in Round Rock

Bright Horizons Early Education and Preschool is excited to be opening its newest center here in Round Rock in late Fall 2013.
